A great little bugger
Pros
solid picture even when moving, headphone jack
Cons
battery life
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It is a great TV... great reception, great price. The only con is the battery life.
The Casio TV-880 is a great little TV. I also seem to recall that I saw it in a RadioShack ad marketed as an RCA model. oh, ok... I just looked on RadioShack's website, and this is the same TV.... marketed as the "RCA? 2.3" LCD Pocket TV"
Reception
Great! A little jittery, but that is expected out of a TV that is not tethered by a cumbersome cable! Local UHF stations come in about as clear as with cable.
Pcture Quality
I'm not an expert... but the picture is very crisp.
Battery Life
Runs on 4 AA batteries... they run out very quickly. Don't plan on watching a 3-hour telethon using this TV, without a backup supply of batteries. I would recommend getting a charger for it.
Cost
I paid nothing for this TV, since I won it as a prize for being the top fundraiser for a magazine drive at school. I do remember, though, that it was around $100 when I purchased it. Keep an eye out for deals... I'm sure they happen.
Easel
There is an "easel" attached to the back, so that the TV880 can stand up. The angle is not great, but it's a sturdy hold.
Durability
Unknown. I haven't wanted to "destroy" it yet.
