REturn it, even if its a gift.
I got this and returned it recently. I got it for $79. The screen 2.5" is too small for any handheld. Resolution is really bad. Can't read any text on tv. Sometimes can't even makeout certain actors. My advise is , if you're interested in buying any handheld tv, go for atlest 3" wide and with a TFT Active Matrix screen. Don't go for the normal LCD. Its just a waste of money.
Go for the casio 670 or RCA 3" TFT model. The TFT models are better and soft, and looks like it higher in resolution. Still I think some of these televisions are overpriced.
