Pushing Performance and Mobility to the Extremes
The NexStar 11 GPS is the descendant of a line of telescopes dating from 1980 when the first Celestron C11 appeared. It is near the upper end of what can be moved by a single person, and is built for performance.

I purchased this scope half a year ago after I had a Meade LXD 55 (briefly). I returned the Meade because quality was really shoddy (one of the tripod screws broke off, condensation on the interior of the corrector plate, slewing precision not satisfactory).
