Cerwin Vega E-75C Center Speaker

I have a JVC home theater "in a box" and in general, was satisfied-except for the center channel. The dialog of movies was not clear enough and sounded sort of behind the screen instead of out front. I began doing some reading, and since I have a very good audio system for music, I knew something about how to pick speakers. I had 2 criteria- price and even more important was size. I wanted what ever I purchased to fit on top of my 27" Sony Wega TV. Therefore I was limited in the depth and length of a center channel speaker. I have a friend who has Cerwin Vega speakers for his audio set up & I was Ok with them. I also knew of them as bass oriented speakers. I bought the E-75C when it was on sale ($64.95)& hooked it up instead of the JVC center speaker. What a difference! The 2 woofers gave impressive bass & the tweeter was superb for highs and voice. I have watched 2 movies and along with the rest of the JVC system, the sound is very good. I would recommend this speaker system to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of $ and has limited space.
