Pros very good performance for a low price
Cons none except it does not protect from police with deactivated radar gun or aircraft :-)

Pros Good detection, looks cool, easy to install and use, cheap
Cons Does not guarantee absolute protection, display

I got this radar detector (Cobra ESD-6050) at Cyberrebate, it is supposed to be free there after the mail-in rebate. It sells elsewhere for as low as $50.

Pros Good Radar/Laser Detector if stealth not needed in your area (like VA or DC).
Cons Doesn't Protect from Upgraded VG-2 & any Spectre RDD. RDD Stealth poor in VA/DC.
Recommended it? Yes

Generally good radar & laser detector. Radar drones on bridges and construction signs still set off alarm. Unit good if stealth from police such as in VA and DC isn't needed. Pros At least it can detect something-- even if too late for a driver to react
Cons Abysmally poor detection range, faulty power cord jack

Pros Very easy to use. Works good for many types of radar guns.
Cons Does not pick up newer laser guns, POP or some frequencies of radar guns.
Recommended it? No

This worked pretty well when I bought it many years ago, but radar guns have changed to laser guns and this doesn't pick up many of them.

Pros Very Cheap, And Has Good Range
Cons No 360 Degree Laser Detection

Pros Good X/K Band response, great for those on a budget!

If you are on a tight budget, this COBRA ESD-6050 is a decent performing low priced unit. It has SWS alert and VG2 warning capabilities which add to the value of this unit.
