A Poor Detector...
I purchased this detector on ebay for about 50 bucks. I am about 4 months ago and have been extremely dissatisfied with its performance. Cobra 6500
Hi Everyone,
I have a Cobra ESD 6500 which is a 6700 minus voice alert. I got mine for $50.00 on Ebay. It came with a 90 day warranty and it looks brand new. I think the ad said that it was a factory repair job. I met a trooper on the road today who hit me with Ka band for a split second...

This one has a great price and lots of neat features. i personally like the thing that tells you of aproching trains. once i was going to my mothers house and it warnewd of a train so i saved a BUNCH of time going around the other way so i didnt have to wait on the train you will be suprised how... Great performer for the money
The Cobra ESD-6500 radar detector is a small and fairly inexpensive radar detector with a text display. It detects X, K, super wideband Ka, Laser, and Safety Alert signals.
