The cobra 6700 is no good

The Bottom Line:
Not that good, I wish that i put up the extra cash and purchased the escort or the valentine detector.
Recently i was returning from vacation and i had the cobra 6700 on. I was going 89 in a 70 and the radar detector didn't register until i had already passed the cops. They tagged me with K band. There was no obstructions that would make the detector not pick up the cops. The weak range on the detector could not pick up the radar. I am very disappointed in the performance of this unit. Now i have to pay a large ticket and it could of been avoided with a better detector. On top of that i am going to purchase the escort or valentine.
