Cobra Electronics ESD 7000 Radar Detector

Found this unit great for the price. After reading some reviews and found that the bad ones were because the consumer got tickets and well deserved ones I may say. This radar does exactly what is is made for and gives adequate heads up when Radar is being used unless you're a flying idiot doing 20 or more miles over the limit. Even at that speed the $200-$300 ones can't help you, just plain physics is at play here. False warnings were minimal when using the proper settings.I found that this unit was small, Easy to use and accurately price for the bells and whistles ( not much, but enough). The alerts are loud, the visuals are bright and not overbearing, plus you can control the volume very easily with a thumb wheel.
