Cobra Electronics ESD 9000 Radar Detector

I bought the Cobra 9000 a couple of weeks ago at the local Costco. I had great expectations. I took it out of the package in the Costco parking lot, stuck it to the windshield (Next to my Cordless Escort Solo 5) and about 30 miles later I was sitting at a stoplight when my escort went nuts. I looked up and here came the Chipper. He pulled up to the stoplight directly across from me. The Escort was doing a beautiful job and the Cobra 9000 never made a peep. I sat there staring at it in total disbelief. I took it back and will never buy another. By the way the Cobra seemed to pick up the X band pretty good.
