The Two Way Radio

Pros Range is good and it has neat features
Cons Channels can change very easily
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  It is very useful, works well, and easy to use.
The Two way radio is really neat and very useful. They are compact and lightweight which make them easy to use and carry around. So far they seam to work really well. The two way radio comes in really clear when speaking, with very little static. When the other person is done talking you will hear a little beep which lets you know that the other person is finished talking. I thought this was really neat because it lets you know when they are done talking so you can talk back to them. The range for the two way radio is about 2 miles and it seamed to work really well. My family used the two way radio on a three hour trip, we took two cars, and the radios worked well when we were driving. We were able to communicate using the radios for almost the entire trip.

The two way radio can be used for many things. They can be used to talk to family at a shopping mall or store, used to talk to the neighbors, for car traveling, to communicate between floors of a building, keep in touch with others while hiking and camping, and there is much more.

Some other features that comes with the two way radio are the battery saver which helps to extend battery life, Call Alert which can be used to call the other person and let them know that you want to talk to them. It also comes with auto squelch which gets rid of unwanted noise, maximum range extender, a belt clip, a range button to know if you are in range, and it comes with 14 different channels.

The only problems we seam to have with the two way radio is that if the channel button is slightly bumped the channel will change very easily even if it is not meant to. There is also some static when the other person is talking, but it is not too bad. Sometimes the power takes longer to turn off and on when you press the power button.

So far my family and I have really enjoyed the two way radio. They will be very helpful and useful to us in the future when we travel and go on trips. The two way radio is a great idea for families and friends who like to keep in touch.
