The Cobra Microtalk FRS-110-SB has helped me many times in the woods, at the mall and even while traveling in different cars. I love this little jewel. It makes my life easier and safer. I bought it first of all, to use on hunting trips. As, I was always concerned as to where my hunting partners... Read full review »

I originally purchased our set of Cobra FRS-110-2Sb radios as a Father's Day gift for my husband more than a year ago. We have since purchased another pair, as the entire family has experienced the benefits of these radios.

We own a 35-foot travel trailer that we keep on a permanent... Read full review »

Pros Very good radios for people that have never used FRS before.
Cons You will like them but you will want to buy better ones with CTCSS codes.
Recommended it? No

These radios look rather plain. They are black.

I also have a Cobra 115 that is red and has built in AM/FM radio.( Great stereo FM music with headphones. The 115 was not expensive and can be bought with a double radio charger. NO CTCSS codes.)

The Cobra 110 has a battery save... Read full review »

Pros Handy to hold, easy to use, attractive design
Cons Eats battery life, don't work great over long distances
Recommended it? No

What a great pair of radios for use in short distance. However, the distance is really affected by steel buildings, etc... We tried to use these in the same school building and it was pretty much impossible to hear the other party on a different floor of the building.

But outdoors they... Read full review »

Pros cheap, works well, hard to break
Cons bad belt clip design
Recommended it? Yes

My first experience with Family Radio Service (FRS) came when a group of friends took a pair on a backpacking trip. The radios were useful both in the cars on the way and on the trail. As in "take exit 26!" and "have you made it to the bridge yet, slowpoke?" They worked well and were fun to use as... Read full review »

Pros Easy to hold, easy to use, and very powerful.
Cons Haven't found too many other uses for them.
Recommended it? Yes

These little numbers are pretty impressive indeed. For the money, I did not expect them to work so well but it was a pleasant surprise.

We got them looking for a way to communicate while helping my girlfriend's son move to Florida. Between us, we have all moved so many times we knew how... Read full review »

Pros affordable pricing; sold as a pair; compact; easy to use
Cons none at this time

The addition of my WebTV solved many problems but created another monster. My phone line is tied up for hours at a time so my mother, who lives next door could not reach me by telephone nor could anyone else. Solution: Cobra Microtalk FRS-110. This seemed to be the most logical an inexpensive... Read full review »
