I have a Magellan 700 and this unit .
The Magellan 700 is by far a better unit than this is. If this unit was $500.00 then maybe I would keep this unit and live with the cons of it. Other than that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
PROS::I have just bought this unit today and have learned alot about it. Its very accurate in the way it voice prompts before and at the interection. User friendly.
CONS:: No expandability, No accessories with unit not even an ac power supply, Way to much money(1200.00) for the features, No detail on map of surrounding streets, No changing of color backgrounds schemes, No info on present location on map, No touch screen, limitation on entering address, Map display is cheezy, Unit is bulky, Cheaply made, Should cost no more than $500.00 dollars,
