Cobra Electronics XRS-9300CS Radar Detector

Ok, I've used many radar detectors in the last thirty years. If you've ever used one, you know that nothing will beat a speed gun if you're travelling without vehicles ahead and behind you. I've used the XRS-9300CS for a few months now and I like it. Some of the cheaper models seem to give false (and continuous) warnings as they heat-up or overheat. I took two back to Wally World for this reason, but the 9300CS has performed very well. I am just guessing, but I think sometimes the sunlight passing between the pines combined with my vehicle speed might be emulating the strobes on some emergency vehicles. Every now and then under these conditions I am frightened out of my wits by a blaring high-low alarm then "Emergency Vehicle, approaching!" Oh yeah, I love the radar detector detector detector feature when driving through VA. Shsssssh
