Cobra Electronics MicroTalk LI5600-2DX (14 Channels) Two Way Radio

I have had a pair of microtalk radios for about 2 months now, and I am very happy with them. They are small and lightweight enough to fit nicely in a shirt or jeans pocket. I also like the fact that the antenna is not permanently in the "up" position, like it is on many other two-way radio models. The range on the radios, is not spectacular, but it is quite good, and they are much clearer than I expected. These radios have come in handy on many occasions since we bought them. The most recent was last weekend, when were taking some friends who were unfamiliar to the area to visit the mountains. We took two cars, and our friends got caught in traffic aways behind us. We had given them our second radio to use, and were able to give them directions as to how to catch up with us. This saved them the inconvenience of getting lost, and it saved us all time and frustration. I would recommend these radios to anyone. They have already more than paid for themselves in my family, just by how much time they have saved us.
