Coby DVD-218 DVD Player

I have owned 4 or 5 different dvd players in the past several years and have taken back two of them to circuit city (where I will never shop for a dvd player again).

Whereas, I have owned 2 dvd players which sometimes stopped playing a dvd disc at the final 15 minutes of the disc, I have never had this problem with Yamakawa's. They worked better than the two dvd players which I bought from circuit city at 3x the price.

Yamakawa dvd players play a variety of different disks, they are region free, and I have not had any problems with the two which I own.

Now, I did buy a 3rd player and sent it to a friend in Thailand. It did not work for her out of the box and she had it fixed cheaply. I don't know if there was a setting which should have been set or if being shipped halfway around the world caused the problem.
