The Bottom Line:
Coby has been around for a long time with good products. For the price and ease of use you can't go wrong.
I purchased the Coby DVD-237 player in 2004 as a Christmas gift for my kids. I chose this player because of its compact size and price. It is extremely small (perfect for a kids room) compared to standard DVD players. It was one of the best prices I found in a brand name I was familiar with. I have always had positive experiences with the Coby brand from when I myself was young.
I have enjoyed having this DVD player in my household that that I purchased another one for my other child. The DVD player is great for all ages because of its extreme ease of use. The face had 4 buttons On/Off, Stop, Play, & Eject. The supplied remote control is also small but can be confusing due to the number of buttons. Another positive feature is the remote control is not required unless you like to skip scenes or like to watch DVD extras. If you simply watch a movie from start to finish the remote is not required.
I don't have any complaints for the DVD player. I have purchased another Coby brand DVD player to replace this one and will continue to support Coby brand products.
