Coby TF-DVD7377 Portable Player
Pros
Multiple file formats and adapters.
Cons
None yet. I'll update later if issues arise.
Recommended it?
Yes
I'd been looking for a car stereo with USB and mp3 support, but I did not want to buy two of them, one for each car, and later transfer them when I bought new cars . I also thought about iPOD style players but it sounds like alot of file juggling.
Then the light when on in my head and searched on portable DVD players with USB. This way I can use it in any car I drive or purchase, or around the house, in a hotel, in a rental car. I can use multiple formats, USB, SD, CD, DVD, to play mp3 files, besides the usual video function. And all that for one low price.
So I've only used it for a day, and even with the screen down, an iPOD style player has a longer battery life, yet offers much more flexibility than a fixed appliance. I just plug my cassette adapter into the headphone jack, to play into the car stereo. It comes with a 12v adapter for the car, a 110v adapter, a remote that uses standard AAA batteries.
