Compaq V700 17 inch CRT Monitor

I got this monitor (for free) from my father's company a few years back. They have since upgraded their monitors. At first, it sat dormant, but it was when I hooked it up to my GeForce 4 that I realized how great it was. The monitor is not too expensive, but is very easy on the eyes with it's flicker free 85 Hz at 1024x768. It gives a nice crisp picture and can go up to resolutions of 1600x1200. I find it also works great for gaming because of the high resolutions and refresh rate. Contrast and brightness are easily adjusted and fined tuned by two knobs on the front, while the other features are accessed through on screen menus. If you're looking for a good CRT on a budget, I highly recommend this one. You might be able to find a nice used one, too (they've been around a few years). I just wish I had one at work.
