Excellent Value, even if they aren't perfect

Good looks but poor sound!
It was time to replace my Altec Lansing ACS33 and since this was on sale for $40 at Best Buy, I went for it. I simply relied on the Creative name as I had their Nomad MP3 players before and was satisfied with the sound quality.

Sounds great with some adjustments

Not that impressed...
Even for the money, this could have been better. I ended up paying $25.00 USD tax after the $20 mail in rebate. What can I say but "WOW"! I love these speakers.

Out of the box, the speakers have a nice solid expensive feel to them. The ease of set-up is excellent. Warning - Stay away from these speakers!
These speakers are some of the worst I've heard at any price. The satellites sounded blown right out of the box. I bought them on EBay but they were definitely new out of the box.
