Excellent Value, even if they aren't perfect

Pros Two-way design, excellent sound reproduction--especially in music, midrange coverage,...
Cons No independent channel control, odd subwoofer/satellite volume division in video games;...
Recommended it? Yes

I didn't expect much from the Creative T2900 speakers, really. I've been increasingly jaded about PC multimedia speakers. Every set I try blows in some regard. I've been demoing speakers at BestBuy, CircuitCity, CompUSA, Staples, MicroCenter, Office Depot -- anywhere I could find PC speakers to... Read full review »

Good looks but poor sound!

Pros Stylish design, convenient metal stands and nice remote.
Cons Sound is bad with too punchy, distorted bass and lacking stereo imaging.
Recommended it? No

It was time to replace my Altec Lansing ACS33 and since this was on sale for $40 at Best Buy, I went for it. I simply relied on the Creative name as I had their Nomad MP3 players before and was satisfied with the sound quality.

This one was different. I thought my Altec ACS33 was average... Read full review »

Pros Clear highs and mids, bass fills in well
Cons Treble is a little bright
Recommended it? Yes

While others seem to have had unpleasant experiences with these speakers, I am mostly satisfied. I was using a minisystem to listen to my music before, and these are the first powered computer speakers I've used in a long time. I use them mostly to listen to music of all kinds, from classical to... Read full review »

Pros great highs and mid rance. low price.
Cons bass SUCKS at high volumes remote control is a waste of space.
Recommended it? No

Even for the money, this could have been better. I ended up paying $25.00 USD tax after the $20 mail in rebate. NOt oo bad, but I did have to shell out 45 bucks in the first place, so I expect at least SOME quality. It has been said, and is true that the L/R speakers are very capable. The higs and... Great speakers for the money

Pros Cost, quality of sound.
Cons None to mention.
Recommended it? Yes

What can I say but "WOW"! I love these speakers.

Now, I am not a hard core gamer, nor do I listen to a lot of music. But from an average PC user, I must say that there speakers are a great deal.

You get 2 speakers, 1 sub-woofer and a wired control that handles the volume and... Read full review »

Pros Ease of set up, Looks, sound quality, controls, deep bass.
Cons None to speak of
Recommended it? Yes

Out of the box, the speakers have a nice solid expensive feel to them. The ease of set-up is excellent. Ive plugged them into my Dell Jukebox and Hp Laptop; the sound quality is impressive, deep rich bass, and crystal clear highs. The external volume and bass control makes it easy to get the volume... Warning - Stay away from these speakers!

Pros Sub Woofer is ok.
Cons Satellites blown sounding, tinny, fuzzy, static - crap!
Recommended it? No

These speakers are some of the worst I've heard at any price. The satellites sounded blown right out of the box. I bought them on EBay but they were definitely new out of the box. Even at very VERY low levels the satellites were static-y and fuzzy. Very unpleasant to listen to. So bad that I am... Read full review »
