Awesome Plug and Play 2.0 Sound
Pros
Well-built, clean, simple and, of course, great-sounding.
Cons
Plain appearance in my opinion. BRIGHT LED.

The Bottom Line:
Excellent sounding speakers. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a simple but impressive speaker setup. Surprisingly ample bass.
I had a relatively cheap 5.1 Altec Lansing speaker setup connected to my computer, but after rearranging some furniture I found that I didn't have a place to put the rear speakers. I decided to look for a nice and simple 2 speaker setup to make my desk area look neater. I decided not to go with a 2.1 system because I'm trying to make my desk area as uncluttered as possible.
At first, I was really disappointed with the speakers. The speakers just sounded muddled and dirty and there seemed to be a slight buzz. I wasn't convinced that the sound was any better than the much less expensive Creative T3030 2.1 speakers I had been using as a temporary measure. I was surprised considering the premium price. I decided to let the speakers break-in by playing music on them for a day. Wow. That made a world of difference. Now my music sounds much richer and more vibrant and I just love the speakers.
The speakers don't sound as good as my Creative 5.1 G550W set up running on my HTPC, but that's comparing apples to oranges. Compared to the Creative T3030 speakers, these sound magnificent. Obviously, the T3030 can produce much more bass, as it has a separate subwoofer, but the bass on the T3030s tends to sound like it's coming from a paper box sometimes and the midrange isn't clean. I'm seriously surprised by how much bass the T20s can produce. Each speaker has a BasXPort, which is basically a tuned port pointing out the top of the speaker. These ports do seem to help the 2.5" woven glass fiber midrange cone produce a nice bass and midrange presence. The clarity of sound is very good--my acoustic music sounds full and clean. Overall, I am very happy with the sound these two little speakers produce.
The speakers themselves are very well built. They don't appear cheap like many other computer speakers. The front plate is a nice metallic gray and the knobs are real chrome. The headphone jack and auxiliary input are on the front, so they're easy to access, but they do take away from the clean appearance.
I thought that watching TV shows on my computer wouldn't be as nice because I was losing a center channel in moving to these speakers, but they do just fine.
I have some negative comments, but not about the sound quality. I think the styling could have been better. Although the T20s have a high-quality appearance, they aren't as sleek as the Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers. The blue LED status light on the speaker which houses the knobs is obnoxiously bright. Its practically blinding to look at. I'm seriously considering getting some sort of translucent material to create a filter to block the glare. Also, the length of the wire that runs from speaker to speaker is only 6.5 ft. This might be too short for some (like those wishing to position on either side of a queen or king size bed). I also note that the power wart on these speakers is a relatively chunky beast.
All in all, I'm very happy with these speakers. I enjoy the great sound and I appreciate the high-quality craftsmanship and the minimization of wires running around my workspace.
