Sound is one of the most important inputs which you get when on the computer. Specially when playing games or listening to music. It is well worth it to invest in a good quality set. I know that probably most people out there are still using those $20 a pair speakers which came with your PC. Those are the ones who are missing out. You can take advantage of the full potential of a computer by upgrading your speaker, especially if you have a good sound card.
The FPS1000 are amazing. They give you great 3D sound when your playing games or watching DVDs. I have been playing WWII Fighters for quite some time and when I got these speakers I found out all the I was missing out on. I could now actually hear from which direction the enemy planes where coming from. This added with the sub-woofer which comes with the package made the simulation games and other action games seem so much more real and fun. Listening to music was drastically improved as was the clear crisp quality of the DVD sounds. For about $120CND these are definitely a good buy. Other computer speakers I have heard cost twice the price but don't deliver quite the quality. My two thumbs up.
