Awhile ago I decided to purchase some new speakers to replace the completely generic ones that came with my computer. These speakers had been recommended to me by a friend, so after forking over a pile of bills (wah- but worth it, don't get me wrong), I arrived back home with these puppies. I was excited, so I opened them up immediately. I looked at their size after ripping open the box, and thought "Wow. I just got swindled. These little midgets can't possibly be THAT great!"
Half an hour later, I kicked myself for being so stupid. These speakers are AMAZING!!!!! The sound is marvelous, and incredibly sharp and clear. The subwoofer provides enough bass for any (sane) man, DVDs sound absolutely great, and on games..... wow.... the experience of playing Half-Life will never be the same. You'd be surprised by how much 3D sound can add to a game! It's fantastic!
In conclusion, if you have some extra money and want a near-perfect audio experience, BY ALL MEANS BUY THESE! I hear the FPS1000 model also provides great sound for a more reasonable price (for all you pennywise people out there). You will not regret it!!!!!!!!
