Cons
Poor wiring connection setup

The Bottom Line:
Well seeing as they're 5 years old and they're not sold anymore dont buy them unless you want a cheap surround sound gaming system which u can find 2nd hand!
When I got these speakers 5 years ago I was very impressed with their match up stereo hi-fi quality sound and today...still am. There are a lot of good sides and down sides to these speakers and I'll start off with the good sides. The sound is very clear and produces a good refined sound. The surround of 4 satellites works well and the subwoofer produces plenty of 'umph' ONLY when placed on the floor. They produce excellent sound at low normal listening volumes up to about 15 watts. The downsides inlude a plastic subwoofer which changes the bass greatly. Compare a modern wooden subwoofer and you can place it anywhere and still hear the same. With this plastic sub you have to put it on the ground. I use the matching Creative SBLIVE! soundcard with these speakers and the speakers distort if turned up higher than 2/3 to 3/4 of the volume. At his point the sound can become very tinny, high pitched and clangy like. To get all 4 satellites to work I had to change around the left/right input cables in the subwoofer so that left was in right and right just wasnt connected at all. It works!
Overall these speakers are good but compared to modern technology they are dated. They lack the dynamics and theres just that something to bookshelf cabinet speakers.
However, looks like they've served me well and I'll be upgrading to a 7.1 system (I think) along with my new compter :)
