Feel the sound

Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Still the most complete Dolby Digital speaker system for the PC and you will also find that to be true when you purchase this wonder of todays technology!
In DTT 2500 Digital there's five loudspeakers, a subwoofer and a mainframe from you control this ensemble.
In the mainframe there's also the important Dolby Digital-decoder for the great movie experience and it also has its own DAC so you can take the sound digital all the way to the speakers and this way you avoid interference with the sound.
Size: loudspeakers are 5 times 2,5" and the Sobwoofer is 5,25"
Capacitys: Subwoofer 20 W the loudspeakers 7 W and the middspeaker is 21 W.
Interfaces: Dolby Digital / SPDIF RCA, analogical interfaces in front and in the back, Digital DIN ( for the Sound blaster Live ! card)
More: 24 bit DAC, Dolby Digital decoder and pedestals.
This machine is mainly for watching movies but it goes greatly with games as well.
The sound reproduction is surprisingly stable. Dynamics is satisfactory and there's no normal lacks that you can find in normal PCs loudspeakers absolutely no mid area lacks and not too much of the rumble in the bass.
There is some lacks in the subwoofer that you wish there'd be but it still is much better than many of its competitors.
Before I start to talk about prices, bare in mind that I live in Scandinavia!
The DTT 2500 is about 100 dollars more than Creatives FPS 2000 which doesn't have Dolby Digital Decoder or the mid loudspeaker...
This machine works like a dream and has brought me and my family a new aspect in watching movies and playing PC-games!!!
