The Bottom Line:
Good for music, poor for audio books because when you pause or stop and then restart it doesn't remember your place but returns to the beginning.
After 3 months of use I offer the following. First the good: It's solid seemingly durable. The buttons are big. The sound is good. The battery lasts at least 12 hours and recharges in about 2. It's a great value for the money. Now the bad: I use it a lot for audio books and this device is not smart enough to remember and return to the same place after you pause or stop it. It will for a few minutes but after that when you restart it it will start all the way back to the beginning so you have to scroll forward numerous times to find the place in the book where you left off. A real pain. It does not come with an instruction manual!! You have to figure out what the buttons do by trial and error. And the buttons are extremely sensitive so it takes much practice to use it. I couldn't figure out how to set up separate files for books and music so I have to scroll through all my album titles to find a book. I called customer support and they wouldn't help me on the phone and insisted on sending me an email of instructions which they never did.
