Fun little scope, and a bargain.

Pros Affordable and convenient, good budget optics
Cons Not waterproof, fogs easily, and not particularly sturdy
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I recommend this monocular,it's well worth what is being charged for it,it is convenient, fun, and comes with a neat little pouch. All at a price that won't leave you reeling.
I bought one of these on sale at a local sporting goods store, it cost me around 19 dollars. For the money I am very pleased with it, it is small, fits in the palm of my hand, and allows me to see things that are at a distance. Considering that it has glass optics with 2 prisms all crammed into a tiny space, it was a bargain. The scope is 8 power, and depending on where it is used (a crowded beach, or an airport) it is just fine. The flip side is that it does not offer some of the benefits of other scopes. I used mine to watch airplanes at a local airfield, and before i had owned it 3 weeks the prisms had become misaligned, making everything appear canted around 15 degrees to the right. This was correctable, of course. Also the diopter scale on the eyepiece is a cheap sticker decal, and on mine was falling off when I opened the package.
I like the scope overall, and for 20 bucks I do not expect it to compete with high end optics, and it does its poor man's 007 impression quite well. I like the little zippered case that is provided with it as well, complete with a small hook&loop flap that fits perfectly over my belt and is out of the way at the same time.
Worth the money. Lots of fun. Just don't stake your life on it.
