Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S60 Digital Camera

The picture quality is excellent. Best of all this model was made in Japan; but I know even the sony's made in china are still quality products. I love all the features on this camera, but I've tried many times to take pictures on the night mode and it requires you to be absolutely still or else the slightest hand movement will bring out a blurry picture. But I don't see this as a flaw, all I would need is a tripod. Software is simply to use. Movie mode is great, even the sound is crisp. But Would definitely need bigger memory for movies. I love how I can connect to the TV for large viewing via a/v cables. Wonderful. Alkaline batteries worked for a decent amount of time but rechargable are the way to go. Love the large LCD unlike some cameras with the dinky LCD's that are hard to view. The camera is a good size, not small, not large. But compared to some cameras it may be heavy, but I think that makes it easier to handle;another plus.
