Pros Wireless gives freedom
Cons We had to purchase a $50adaptor to make this unit work with my daughters computer.
Recommended it? Yes

The wireless D-link Wireless G Router WBR-1310 (WBR1310) is a problem solver in our home. My daughter came home for the summer from college. That would usually mean more competition for use of our family PC. When she came down she also brought down her laptop. Pops thought he would have to have... Read full review »

When I bought the D-Link WBR-1310 Wireless Router, it was purchased for a client of mine. He needed access to the internet via his desktop and a newly bought laptop. Unfortunately, he left me hanging, so the router was in my possession (and unpaid) for a few months. I almost forgot about it until I... Read full review »

Pros Simple, inexpensive, no wires, wireless security built in, suitable for older and newer...
Cons extremely unreliable connection, no printed instructions.
Recommended it? No

I received my dLink WBR-1310 router with the purchase of my new HP notebook from Circuit City in February 2008.  That should have been my first clue...if they have to give them away free then they are probably not worth the box they are packaged in!!

Before I go any further, this router... Read full review »

Pros if you can get it working, it works decently for routing desktops
Cons GET A WIRELESS GATEWAY INSTEAD, Wireless signals are weak.
Recommended it? No

It is absolutely, not a reassuring feeling, when you purchase a brand new tech product and you open the box only to see a sheet of paper that says in bold:

If you experience problems setting up your new router, please refer to the included CD's support guide before calling tech support... Read full review »

I really wanted to work from home occasionally so I had to get a wireless router.  I found this one for a very good price (23.99 shipped free) brand new on www.buy.com.  The reviews on the website were pretty good at 4.6 out of 5 stars from many reviewers, but I still asked one of our IT guys his... Pros easy setup...great service
Cons I should have set this up long ago!

The D-link WBR-1310 router is a great buy and surpassed all my expectations. Typically when I purchase computer related items, I am fully prepared for a hideous session of technical problems that will only be solved after reaching some 800 number tech support.

Well, NOT THIS TIME! The... Read full review »

I have owned the D-Link Wireless G Router WBR-1310 for a little over a year. I use it to connect my cable internet connection to my laptop, Tivo, and Wii. The unit has been barely adequate, but also problematic. I have recently bought a different unit, and will be setting up the D-Link unit's... Read full review »

This is the absolute best router under $40 delivered for your home wireless setup. EZ to install and program. Great reception. Even looks better on the desk than the frontrunner from Linksys.

Anyone who has reception issues with this unit is going to have them with any router. Read full review »

Cons Unreliable, tech support is poor. Needs better firmware which is not available.

This was actually my second DLink wireless router, The first a DI-614+ Rev B worked great as a router but the wireless portion was not very reliable. I tried a Linksys WRT54G but it would not work properly behind the Dlink DCM-200 cable modem. So I brought home the WBR-1310 Rev B1. It was a breeze... Read full review »

I originally purchased this router when my wife bought a new laptop with an internal wireless G network card. For about six months, the router worked fine. I maybe had to reset it twice in the first six months.

After that first six months, the wireless drops out constantly. I started... Read full review »
