Good player with annoyances
Had the player about 1 year.

mixed feeling about the device
I bought the dvd to play divx movies. For that purpose, it seems to work fine. It can read most disks, though a number of (new) disks have to be inserted several times before the play can load them.

Handles every format I throw at it
This unit, which we bought from Avayon refurbished, was recommended by a friend and we have not been disappointed. Best Divx Player

I love my Avayon
I bought mine about 6 months ago and I love it. I have a ton of downloaded files and this plays just about everything. I have also recommended it to a bunch of my friends and I even bought my Mom one for Mother's Day. She loves it too.

Hello Avayon...goodbye lengthy DVD video conversions!
Just got my new Avayon in the mail on Saturday and it rocks! Basically this player lets you play most video files by burning them as DATA onto a blank DVD or CD.
So you can download an .AVI or .MPEG file from the web...or even import video from your home video camera.. ..burn it...and play it...

not suitable for most
As the feature list says
"Supports DivX V3.11,V4.x,V5.x and later files (without QPEL and GMC)"
This unit does NOT support QPel divx, does NOT support QPel xvid, does NOT support GMC Xvid.
