Daewoo DV-T47N VCR

Bought this and had trouble the first time I used it. It recorded OK, but would not play back without "skipping". The problem repeated. Since the unit was still within its 90-day warranty period, I contacted Daewoo to see how I could get it repaired or replaced. I reported the problem on three occasions, about 10 days apart, by calling their support number. Each time they noted the problem, said they would contact the VCR support people, and promised I would get a callback within 48 hours, but they still have never returned any of my calls. Not only does this firm sell a defective product, but they do not honor their warranty. The lesson is clear -- never buy a Daewoo product!
