Welcome to a new dimension in audio

The Bottom Line:  Even my friend Chris, owner of Glanzer Pro Audio gives these speakers the thumbs up.  Even though he isn't a fan of bi-polar speakers in general.
I really cannot say enough good things about these speakers.  Prior to these speakers I had some Cerwin Vega RE-25s hooked to my Pioneer Elite vsx-84txsi receiver and they sounded ok but the guy at the stereo shop "Audio Dimensions Wichita KS" told me it was a disgrace to have them hooked to such a nice receiver.  Taking this to heart I began to look at what my options were.  I auditioned some of their B&W 802s which sounded really nice but I thought they were just too expensive.  So I decided I would pass.  Some time went by before I was once again looking.  This time at Ultimate Electronics and once I heard the 7002s I knew I had to have them.  The difference between them and Klipsch, Polk, Mirage, and BOSE was almost surreal.  When I got them home and began listening to them I found I had been missing many subtle nuances in my music and in the movies I love.  One downside to them is that the difference was now night and day between 192k MP3 and 320k MP3s.  Actually it is now to the point where I don't like the way MP3's sound at all because I know what the music can sound like when a good audio source is applied.  Another cool thing I found is that Rob Thomas's Street Corner Symphony track is another note lower on these speakers than the sub in my car was even capable of reproducing.  In the nearly three years of owning these speakers this is the one purchase that has given me the most enjoyment.  If your in the market for home theater speakers you can't go wrong with Definitive Technology.  Even if you can't buy it all at one it is worth it to slowly build your system up instead of getting a lesser quality system all at once.
