A Cheap - Great little computer that has lasted me awhile!
Pros
Inexpensive, has held up really well, works as good as the day I bought it
Cons
Battery doesn't last more than a year, had to replace power cord
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I think this is a great buy for a student or someone who isn't looking for a gaming computer. It's cheap and has lasted longer and better than I expected.
I bought this laptop over 3 years ago and it still runs just as well as it did when I bought it. I only paid around $400-500 for it. I even upgraded to the 17 in screen, which I think was worth it for the price. I primarily just use this computer to go online and upload all of my pictures to. I also watch movies on it.. dvd's and streaming. It's been used a lot.
I did buy the extra cd burner - but for some reason it will only burn the first couple of songs to a CD and not the whole collection.. and Yes the CD was big enough to hold plenty more songs.
I have had to replace the battery twice. And I also had to buy a new power cord as well. The wire actually split where it comes out of the power box. It doesn't crash on me. Only when I have a large game up, that I probably shouldn't be playing on this computer anyway because of the specs - such as EQ2. The bottom does get really hot, but I'm sure that is what happens with most laptops. Overall I think it was a great buy.
