If not those defects would be a 5 start review
Pros
Fast, wide comfortable screen
Cons
The power adapter sucks big time.
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Probably will not buy a dell again a it was too much trouble and wasted time before the defects were fixed
Probably it is a great laptop overall. But mine had some major issues:(
1. The Power Adapter sucks big time!! 1 adapter does not last longer than 4/5 months for me as I use the laptop almost every day for 6-12 hrs for my work.
So be prepared that it will break sooner or later, so you better buy one extra. When you hear the beeping sound then you will know that you have to get a new one.
2. It found out that mine had a defective video card from the very begining.
The laptop heated up like hell, could not hold it in my lap. Could not normally play games or work with heavy graphics as it almost started to boil after some hrs of use.
Also the screen was very dark even when turned on max brightness possible.
One day I had colourful stripes filling my screen and the screen slowly filled with them so that it was impossible to see through .
So I brought the pc to my dealer and after a few weeks waiting I got a new mother board and now it has worked great since then. No heating, light screen. Can play games or whatever I want. As it should normally be.
If there was not the defects in the begining I would have written a 5 star review, but now I can give max 3 as it reaaly was a pain in the a.. with the defective parts.
