I've had the Dell M991 for nearly 6 years and it's still one of the best displays I've come across.
Last year I tried an unsupported resolution of 1920x1200x75Hz (unticking 'Hide modes that this monitor cannot display' in Display Properties). It's been working in this res perfectly for over a year! Ok, so the fonts are softer looking since this pixels aren't as sharp at this res - but so much desktop space!)
