Great little radio

The Bottom Line:
I would definitely recommend this product because we thoroughly enjoyed it on our 12 hour trip to New Jersey.
We live in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. We purchased this radio for our trip to New Jersey. This little thing was great. We didn't have to do the annoying searching for stations when they went out. We also didn't have to switch in the middle of a song that we were listening to either. The only issue we had with this was going through the mountains of Pennsylvania and under long overpasses. When it did go out, it was very brief and then came right back on. I also like the feature that when you hear a song that you like, hold down the select button and it will beep and the screen will read "song selected". It will then beep and read "song found" whenever that song is playing on another station. You just press the select button and it will immediately switch to that station. I thought that was really neat. My boyfriend is in a pool at work for the NASCAR racing so he watches the race every weekend. I have it programmed so that it scrolls the results of the NASCAR races. It is also programmed for NHL, NBA, and NFL. He absolutely loved that feature because we were driving on Monday and he missed the race on Sunday so we just looked at the results immediately. All in all, this is a great little radio.

Now that we have had some more time to play with this little radio, here is some more information about it. We use this whenever we are working in the yard. It is really nice to have the music and talk without all of the commercials. The sound quality is excellent on the boom box that we purchased with it. It blows away my ordinary boom box. I was amazed at how well it sounded. In the car, the quality is good as well. It sounds a little better than my normal car stereo FM stations. We also learned a little more about the song finding feature. When you select a song by pressing the select button when you hear it, the radio will let you know by making a beeping sound. It will also display the name of the song that was selected across the screen. If you would like to listen to the song, you just press the select button and it will jump to it. My fiance loves the ticker at the bottom. You can program it to go across with the stocks that you like or sports. He has it set up to display NASCAR and then football when football season comes around. He does pools at work and can track who is winning. It saves me from having to listen to the games on Sundays when we are in the car. I am thankful for that!!!!!
