The Bottom Line:
this is the way to go for introducing your self to satellite radio...get it
...if you have been thinking about XM...go for it...this unit is nice and small...now a bit too small if your a big guy with big hands...you will wind up fumbling with the scroll wheel...the reception here at Fort Bragg, NC is great but it does cut out when i am alongside of a drive through window...no big deal...it just does...now if you plan to use it only for the fmwireless feature its on a scale inside their bookelt as "good sound quality" best of course is if you have an auxillary output on a new radio in your car and the next best thing is thru the casette player adaptor which they include in the pacakage along with velcro and two other attacments for vent or to glue a mount for the dash or whereever..it feels solid and nicely weighted...and yes it does sound better then my FM radio inside my OEM 2001 Honda Accord EX with leather Coupe...lol...i have put the XM antenna on my roof outside my moonroof and on the dashboard and had no problems with reception...its digital so either it will come in or it wont...i love all the LED colors you can change on the interface but you wont see them only at night...daytime washes it out...i got the roady so that my husband can use it in his vehicle too but mainly me..and when we travel to FL at times...man..how great it will be to listen to Fox News Channel...it will make the driving time slip away...Discovery Channel...MTV...VH1...i like the television stuff...acutally i am almost close to returning it for the SkiFi...because if you do like to navigate thru the stations the SkiFI is bigger and easier to do..but if you want it cute and small and with a built in FM modulator then this is the way to go...and not to mention it is coming out with all the cool gadgets just the same as the SkiFI stuff...well it really does sound good just to let you know...and all the articles i have read says XM is better...over 2 million subscribers compared to Sirius 5 or 600,000...do the business math...ok...hope you get something out of this...sorry i talk as fast as i type...so i negate punctuation...my bad...
