Yes
The Bottom Line:
Love XM (with a few suggestions). Not crazy about the Delphi.
I got XM last summer. My commute is about an hour through a rural area, which doesn't get much AM/FM radio reception. Since getting XM, I haven't listened to FM at all! It is great. I have a Delphi receiver, which has been 98% reliable...twice heavy rain has interrupted service for a day or so - but other than that, it has worked great.
Good:
o There are lots of entertainment sources...many channels.
o The system is easy to navigate, even when driving
o Reception anywhere!
Bad:
o There are few live sporting events broadcast. Want to listen to the football game? You're still going to have to try to find it on AM.
o XM doesn't have limitless channels - I love alternative country (for example), but there is no alt.country channel
o The Delphi receiver isn't easy to install. I had mine professionally installed, so the wires running from antenna to receiver aren't visible.
o The Delphi screen is hard to see in bright sunlight. It is impossible to read with sunglasses on.
o I needed a few pieces - the receiver, antenna, and FM modulator (I don't have a tape player)
I love XM. I'll never have a car without it...but I think follow-on generations of receiver will be a lot better.
