Overachiever Receiver
Pros
Sound quality, tuner, operating temps.
Cons
None to be found yet.
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought this after buying and returning a JVC 8030, and after owning an Onkyo stereo receiver for 16 years.
Then Denon blows away JVC and Onkyo!
The tuner is the best I've ever heard. It picks up stations I didn't even know about! (The JVC couldn't pick up a station down the street!)
The sound is clean and punchy, with lots of dynamic range, and no noise to be found.
The unit runs cool; thus reducing the amount of heat build-up in your equipment cabinet (which could be very important!)
I don't know why I didn't get this in the first place; but I learned my lesson. Now learn yours.
