Denon AVR-2700 Receiver

I had been a Yamaha fanatic most of my life until I decided to give Denon a try. Now you can call me a Denon fanatic. When I decided to upgrade to Dolby Digital I checked around and kept hearing people talking about how great Denon was (from Home Theater Magazine to people I know). I went to my friend at the local audio store and for $600.00 he said I would be more than happy with the AVR-2700, boy he was right. One thing that impressed me alot was the 5 channel stereo. My brother bought a Marantz system and doesnt have 5 channel stereo, you really dont know how great it is until you listen to music without it. As far as set-up it was easy, the on-screen menu made it easy even if it is your first time. The only thing I dont have is DTS, which at the time I bought this unit there was only 3 or 4 discs available with DTS, so it didnt bother me and to tell you the truth I still dont miss it. The Dolby Digital sound you get out of this receiver is incredible. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants BIG BANG for LOW BUCK.
