New Life for my LPs!!

This is a great buy and will give your music a new lease on life!!
I read every review of every cd recording device I could find in doing my research. This Denon model seemed to be the best choice and I managed to find one on-line at a discount that included a viable warranty - Denon advises that it will only honor warranties on products purchased from their "qualified" dealers - so buy with care.
I have never made a cd recording on a computer so I can't compare to that experience but I can say that I read the Denon instructions once and made my first LP to CD recording with ease and no mistakes. It got even easier after that.
Most of my music transfer is from LPs to CDs and of course some of those LPs are worn, from to much college-life. The Denon, nor any affordable machine, will be able to remove the clicks, hiss and background noise from wear. However if you have some well cared for albums you will be amazed at the quality of the sound you can get on the CD. The first one I did was some jazz that was in excellent condition and the results were AWESOME! (a word I rarely use.)
The menu tree is not difficult and becomes second nature after you make several recordings. I suggest using the manual mode to insert track changes on LP recordings because the auto mode (ATM) will not work with regular LP background noise. Also you will need to use music cds and I did and bought them in bulk - many LPs to go. The best seems to be Memorex 32x (may say 40x on the label.)
