this a good cd player i have it on a NAD C320BEE amp and Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo Three Floorstanding Speakers very nice speakers by the way anyway 2 the point the cd player is very nice sounding lots of detail plenty of bass what more do want oh yes the mids r good aswell sometimes it sounds if the singers where infront of you on clasical the imaging is good also.
now to the bad well not that bad they can make cd sound bright some cd players smooth the top end out this one doesnt (gives more detail that way).its also to do with i think the 20bit dac used,it adds to the sound i think
overall this is not to bad it just means if a cd been badly produced it shows it i think this is the same with all good hifi
