Denon's Warranty is Lethal
Pros
Good sound quality.
Cons
Bad functionality. Slow features. Difficult to program. Denon warranty is bad: buyer beware.
Recommended it?
No
This product is mediocre. It has good features and the quality one expects from Denon. But the functionality is poor. Compared with, say, a Sony CD changer, it doesn't have as many shuffle, repeat, etc. feature. It's harder to program songs, hard to get it to play one CD only, or move between shuffle and regular play.
The big (and it is huge) problem is that Denon only honors its warranty if you buy the product from an authorized Denon dealer. How do you know if a store is authorized? Ask the store? Nope. You have to ask Denon. Which means that you should not buy the product unless you phone Denon and get them to tell you the store you're buying it from is an authorized dealer and go over the warranty terms. And who wants to do that?
