Excellent DVD Player
Pros
Great sound and picture quality for the price, logical remote layout, pretty front panel
Cons
No HDCD support (should have in this price range), flimsy DVD tray, confusing manual

I bought this Denon DVD player to finally upgrade my aging NAD unit. I won't bore you with lots of technical jargon, suffice to say this is a very good player for the money. Lots of features found usually on higher priced players. What I really like about the 756 is the sound quality. My CD's sound fantastic, clean and warm. Picture quality on my DVD's is superb. I have not bought Denon before, I like NAD and Onkyo, and that is what I usually buy. This unit was 50% off at Best Buy so I took a chance and have not been disappointed. I was disappointed at how flimsy the DVD tray feels, do not bump into it with your arm or it will break, it feels somewhat cheap. I know this is a very basic desription but sometimes simpler is better. If you buy this unit please use quality cables or you are defeating the purpose!
