Great DVD player. Impressive!
This is a great DVD player. I've never played DVD-A or SACD CDs on it, I just bought it as a DVD player. I do play regular CDs on it, and it sounds great. One of the reasons I bought it over Denon 2900 is that Denon 5900 has HDMI support. However, my Panasonic 50" plasma does not support 720p... Read full review »
Serious multi-format player for SACD, DVD-A, DVD-V, CD
The DVD-5900 isa very sturdily-built, heavy unit with excellent fit and finish. It is essentially an esoteric audiophile-quality player with a less stratospheric price.
