Piece-O-Junk
Pros
Matched my Denon receiver.
Cons
It takes too many stamps to mail it back to the manufacturer every six months.
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Don't even give it a second look.
Well I am reluctant to say that I too have had nothing but trouble with this darn thing. I originally purchased it in October of '03 and as those above, began getting error messages ("disc error" or something to that effect) within 5 or 6 months. I took it back to the store where I bought it and they in turn, sent it back to the manufacturer. I received a brand new machine appx 4 months and a lot of phone calls later. From there, it went to long term storage for about 10 months and has since seen about a year's worth of use. I began having trouble again recently(same problem...unable to recognize a CD / DVD, and was forced to send it back to Denon with a lengthy letter noting my disappointment with there product. That was about two and a half months ago, and I am just now receiving a reply with their repair estimate (no apologies for faulty equipment, poor design, whatever...just a plain ol' form letter asking me to approve the repair costs. Of course, I'm sure that I don't need to tell you what my answer will be. My advise, save yourselves the hassle and buy another brand.
