Denon DVM-1815 Multi-disc DVD Player

We purchased this product as part of a high end home theatre system designed for our new home. The first unit was installed in Aug 2004. We experienced problems with the discs loading and playing just after the warranty expired. Denon was actually nice about it and when I went to get service, the Denon area office that used to be located outside of Chicago took my machine and gave me a brand new one. I was impressed. Well, we began experiencing the same problems with the new machine. I took this unit to an authorized service center recently and they told me they had fixed the problem and it cost me $75. Well, I am running the machine for the first time since the repair and it is loading better but still not reading the discs. I've fixed it once, shame on Denon. I will not fix it again. We are currently running DVDs through our $99 travel unit, hooked into a VCR. Pitiful. But not as pitiful as the Denon DVM 1815.
