Bought this unit new in Oct of 2005 . It gave up the ghost on 1/05/2006. Actually started sooner but I didn't know it! Stopped reading dvd's giving me a disk error message intermittently then finally just quit -wouldn't play anything dvd's OR cd's. Returned it to Tweeter with a copy of the two previous reviews.Bought a Yamaha c950 5disc player.Amazed at the difference.$449.00-a total of $157.00 more than I paid for the Denon but it was well worth it.Dvd's look like Hi def! E-pinions saved me the mistake of accepting another one of these machines!
