Very nice camera for the price
This is my third digital camera. I was shopping for one with high megapixels and decent optical zoom, most seriously considering the Kodak 10x optical zoom EasyShare. I found this model at Costco. Nice camera with some fatal flaws
I bought my Dimage Z20 in April 2005, which makes it a dinosaur (and Konica-Minolta has since folded). I will say that at the time it was a great camera for the money. Funny looking, but functional
The Z20 occupies a niche market with limited appeal - the "super zoom" digital camera. Far too bulky to be put in a pocket, super-zooms provide some of the performance of a "serious" DSLR-level camera at a third of the cost. Somebody has mentioned in these reviews that the screen viewfinder can't be used and locks up. This is not the case, there are two modes, one to use the traditional view finder to conserve bettery and the other to use the screen.

A very very good and inexpensive digicam
This model has now been discontinued. Actually it means that the price (which was always low) has now plummeted. If you don't mind it being yesterday's model (nearly literally so), well then I recommend this Dimage Z20 heartily.
