Great Plug & Play Receiver for the Money

Pros Sturdy, game alerts, song alerts, abundance of preset stations (almost too many), pause/stop capability
Cons artist alert, hard to read sometimes at night in car
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Very sturdy receiver and mine's taken quite a beating...literally. Simple to use although requires you read the manual to get all the features down.

I've had the Sportster Replay for almost a year now and I don't think I could ever go back to regular (terrestrial) radio. I highly recommend both the service and this receiver and I've even convinced my very stubborn wife to pick one up. ;)

What I think about Sirius - Like cable back in the day I fought against paying extra $ to listen to music but I didn't quite have the time to manage thousands of mp3's for an iPod and with a 40 minute commute I'd spend probably half of it listening to commercials. Both XM and Sirius have free 3-day trials so take the time to try them both. Like I said before, I don't think I can ever go back to terrestrial radio and the price per day is definitely worth it...if I had to I'd gladly cut back to a smaller size coffee.

What I think about the Sportster Replay - The receiver has taken many abuses over the year and the worst that has happened may be a couple buttons not lighting up at night time. I have a home kit that my wife has been using and the boombox that my 1 year old son likes to bang on. Between constantly dropping it and his pouncing it has remarkable held up very well. The only thing I wish it had was an alert by artist instead of just by song title.
