The Durabrand CD-96 is nice looking and sleek. The clear sides were an obvious plus and just added to the aesthetic beauty of the product. The bass boost didn't work well, but it wasn't needed much as this product had nicely working equalizer settings.
The only problem I have with it is the track detection. If the CD player gets banged against something even a little, or if you drop it, it will throw off the CD reader and your CD player will be ruined. I witnessed this from more than one person.
Still, though, I think that if you aren't going to be in any high-risk environment for the CD player to get banged up any then it is probably one of the best for the price CD players out there.
